Gladiolus Place
About
Gladiolus Place is a non-profit residential Home for vulnerable teenage girls who are facing or are at risk of abuse, neglect, delinquency, and wayward behaviors. The Home aims to bring healing for their brokenness, renewal to their minds, and restoration to their families and communities as transformed individuals. In line with this objective, it adopts a holistic curriculum by focusing support in the area of academic, sports, arts, character building and life-skills development.
Collaboration
Gladiolus Place’s key goal is to reintegrate residents back to their families. As such, it believes that a positive family atmosphere would enable its girls to meet the twin goals of eventually contributing to society and fulfilling their God-given destinies. Through counselling and creative intervention activities, its Family Counselor Sunny, nurtures collaboration within the family unit and helps families to eventually navigate each member’s dynamics in a healthy manner.
